Dingle taking visits; narrowing list

Linebacker Justice Dingle calls Bowling Green, Kentucky home now after moving from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Justice has completed spring practice and he is now ready to start taking visits and narrowing down his offer list.

Justice is satisfied with the way his recruitment has been proceeding. “I’m just trying to settle in on my top 4 or 5 in the beginning of the summer and then towards the end trying to narrow that one out.”

One of the schools that is getting a look from Dingle is Georgia Tech. He visited the campus in the first week of April. Justice watched Tech’s spring practice on the visit. “It was up-tempo and I liked it.” Tech is recruiting Dingle as a MIKE linebacker. The Tech coaches talked to Justice about how they would like to use him. “They said on third and long I could also be used to come off the edge.”

Georgia Tech Coach Andy McCollum has been the lead recruiter for Justice. “He’s been trying to get me to come back down there for a visit.” Justice hopes to take that visit this summer. McCollum was in in Bowling Green, Kentucky earlier this week for an evaluation visit at Dingle’s school. “I was surprised that he visited so soon.” The two had previously talked about the possibility of that visit.

In addition to his relationship with Coach McCollum, Justice is friends with incoming Tech freshmen Gentry Bonds and Kaleb Oliver. “We train together and we played 7 on 7 together.” Even though Justice feels it would be cool to be teammates with them, he doesn’t think that their friendship will factor into his decision.

The recent offer from Tech gives Justice double-digit offers. Schools like Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, Virginia, Purdue, and Indiana have also offered Justice. Once school is out, Justice hopes to start visiting some of those schools in order to narrow down his list. “I’ll probably start setting up visits next week.” Virginia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Kentucky, Purdue, and Tennessee are the schools that Justice thinks are recruiting him the hardest at the present time.

Justice hopes to be a physical therapist or an athletic trainer so academics will be playing a role in his decision. Playing time will not play a big role in his decision. “Anywhere you go, you’re going to have to compete.” Justice has family all over so he doesn’t think that distance from home will be a factor.

A late summer decision is currently in the plans for Dingle. He hopes to make his decision before he goes back to school.
