Georgia Tech commitment Eric Williams is the #23 overall player in the state of Georgia. He has had a very good senior season, and is looking to take a couple of official visits. Where may he be headed?
"I want to visit Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Florida some time before
signing day. I have offers from Maryland and Georgia Tech, and I'm still committed to
Georgia Tech, but I just want to be sure."
At 6'3 190lbs, he offers the versatility that college coaches crave. That is
evidenced by the wide realm of positions he's being recruited for.
"Georgia Tech likes me at outside linebacker. Georgia wants me as a
defensive back, and Florida is recruiting me at wide receiver. I don't really
have a favorite as long as I can play."
Williams told us that his commitment has not stopped the phone calls from
coaches around the country.
"The pressure is basically the same as before I committed. Arkansas,
Maryland, South Carolina, and Florida still keep in touch with me a lot."
With a 980 SAT and a 3.8 GPA, Eric has already fully qualified.
