Texas DT heading to the ACC

Elris Anyaibe had only one offer when we spoke with him last month, but he got a host of offers in November, and he has chosen his future destination.

Elris Anyaibe is a big defensive tackle prospect that has seen his stock soar with college recruiters lately. He had picked up offers from Oklahoma State, Arkansas, and Purdue in recent weeks, but he has cast his lot with an ACC Team.

"I committed to Georgia Tech," said Anyaibe. I've been to Atlanta several times. Me and Coach Modkins developed a good friendship. I enjoyed talking with him. I felt good about talking with him. Georgia Tech has a high rated school for Computer Science, and that is going to be my major. I'm going to Tech on my official visit December 12th."

Anyaibe will be a welcome big body on the defensive side of the ball at 6-3 and 275 pounds, and he has the size to make an early contribution on the next level.

Georgia Tech recruiting has been hot in November with three public commitments this month.
