Star Camden County CB shuffling Visits.

There was speculation that Camden County cornerback Kevin Patterson would stay in Atlanta after his game in the Georgia Dome, to visit the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Did he end up going?

"Naw, I didn't go to Tech. We just had so many family members come up to the game and stuff, that it just didn't work out," Kevin Patterson said.

Is he planning to reschedule?

"I don't know yet. I'm going to Duke or Wake Forest on January 9th, and either Wake Forest or Georgia Tech on January 16th. I'm trying to save one for Ole Miss, because they have just jumped into the picture with me."

Who all has offered, and which ones have made his top 5?

"Wake Forest, Duke, Vanderbilit, East Carolina, and Wofford have offered me. My top 5 is probably Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and Louisville."

Camden County defeated Newnan in the AAAAA-semifinals on Friday at the dome, to earn a spot against Valdosta in the state finals. What does Kevin think about that?

"We feel pretty good about playing them. I watched them on Saturday and they are a good team, but we like our chances. It's football country down here, and it's football country over there. It would be the first time a team from Camden County ever won the State Championship, so we are playing for all the guys who played before us. It would be big for us to win."

With his team making a deep run into the state finals, Patterson has had a tough time scheduling his official visits, but things should shake out after Camden locks horns with Valdosta next weekend.
