Georgia Tech picks up Big Commitment

The Jackets had a big recruiting weekend, and the fruits of their labor are starting to roll in. Two commitments came in last night, and Georgia Tech got another one from a big time player.

Georgia Tech thought they had a successful weekend this weekend, and they were right. They picked up two commitments early yesterday afternoon, and last night they picked up a BIG FISH.

"He committed to Georgia Tech," Said Head Coach Mike Bates. "He said he felt at home when he went over there. I knew coach Gailey, he was the head coach at Troy State. He might not remember me. He recruited one of my kids and I thought the world of him then. He puts a lot of thought in everything he's done, so he's done with his recruitment."

Alabama and Notre Dame were thought to be the front runners for Brown's services, but Georgia Tech has a good track record of closing on guys they get on campus. David Brown is a big commitment for the Jackets.
