Tech Signee is Ready to Go

Patrick Clark was a relative sleeper when he committed to Georgia Tech shortly before Christmas. Since then, much has been made of what position he will ultimately play when he gets to the Flats. Clark put those questions to bed this week.

"I'm going to play wide receiver and special teams. I think I can contribute there because I bring yards after the catch, big play potential, and I can get up and down the field," Patrick Clark said.

Patrick is ready to get to Atlanta.

"I'm looking forward to the whole college experience and just getting up there to start playing. I'm going to enroll in the summer and major in Broadcasting and Communications. I'd like to be a journalist."

Will Clark make it up for the Spring game?

"I'm going to try and get up there but it's the weekend of prom. I'm planning to come to some of the practices though."

Which game is circled on the Mandarin High stars personal calendar?

"I'm looking forward to Miami. They just moved to the ACC, and it's a home game. I think it's already sold out."

Clark says he's up to 180lbs now, and is continuing to get bigger and faster.
