Campbell Doubtful, Foschi Out

After participating in Monday's practice in a yellow jersey, star receiver Kelly Campbell missed Tuesday and Wednesday casting serious doubt on his chances of playing this weekend. Plus, it was also revealed that sophomore tight end John Paul Foschi had fractured the bone around his eye socket horsing around with his roommate. He'll be out a minimum of two weeks.

The ankle sprain that has plagued Kelly Campbell since the North Carolina game continues to be slow to heal. After optimism earlier this week that he would play on Saturday against Wake Forest, Coach George O'Leary said simply "I don't know" on Thursday to questions about Campbell's status. Traditionally, players who don't practice on Tuesday and Wednesday don't play on Saturday.

John Paul Foschi, the promising tight end from New York (and former member of the National Honor Society), has undergone surgery and is hopeful of returning for the FSU game. The embarassing accident was caused when he was "play" wrestling with his dorm roommate.
