The competition gets somewhat tougher this evening as one of the Ivy League's top teams visits Alexander Memorial Colliseum at McDonald's Center.

Georgia Tech's freshman-filled men's basketball team will get a truer test this evening as a veteran Pennsylvania squad comes to town led by 6-8 junior forward Ugonna Onyekwe.

The Jackets will be looking for their second win of the young season after easily dispatching Florida A&M 97-62 in their opener last Friday night. Tech was led in the victory by Madison's B.J. Elder, a true freshman guard, and sophomore forward Clarence Moore, who missed most of last season with a broken foot. Both had 16 points. Two other true freshmen, C Luke Schenscher and F Ed Nelson, join Moore, and guards Marvin Lewis and Tony Akins in the starting lineup.

This is Tech's final tune-up before appearing in the Las Vegas Invitational later this week. Top Stories
