Newnan tailback Rod Gray has the Yellow Jackets on his short list. The senior tailback lead his team to a 7-3 record and just barely missed the playoffs for a second year in a row. He also lead Region 4AAAAA in rushing and scoring for a second year in a row.

Rod Gray has been getting a lot of attention from recruiters since last year when he rushed for 1,400 yards and scored 18 touchdowns in what many feel is the toughest region in the state. This year he followed that up by rushing for 1,879 yards and 23 touchdowns. Now that his high school career is over he can give where he will play on Saturday's his undivided attention.

"I like Georgia Tech, Auburn, Middle Tennessee State, Ole Miss, and Georgia in that order. Tech is my favorite right now because of academics and athletics. I don't thnik that they have a pure speed guy with the vision and quickness that I have so it would be a nice fit." Gray said.

"I want to take all my visits first and then make my decision in January". Top Stories
