"I still like USC, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Maryland, Florida and Florida State. All of them have offered me," Maurice Wells said.
What does the Jacksonville star like most about the programs on his list?
USC: "It's a good program with good academics. They always seem to have good running backs."
Georgia Tech: "They were one of the first schools to offer me and they have great academics."
Ohio State: "I have a lot of family up there and they usually have one of the best teams each year."
Notre Dame: "They play on national television every week and they have a high graduation rate."
Maryland: "I have family in the area and they got on me early."
Florida: "It's close to home and I think they'll need a running back next year."
Florida State: "A lot of people I know play there and I think they'll need a running back in a few years also."
What's most important to Wells in choosing a school?
"I'm pretty much looking at playing time right now. It's hard to say which one gives me the best opportunity right now."
What's up next for Wells in regards to his official visits?
"I took an official to USC last week. At the end of this month I'll be at Maryland on the 29th. November 20th is Ohio State and December 17th is Georgia Tech."
Sandalwood and Maurice himself are off to a great start on the gridiron this season.
"Were 5-1 and lost a tough one we should have won. I was injured for 2 games, but I have almost 900yds and 7 touchdowns in the 4 games I've played."
