Thursday Practice Notes

Thursday's GT practice included some big hits, crazy plays and ended with a phenomenal catch from... you'll never guess who.

Here are some excerpts from Thursday's practice at Georgia Tech...

3. The king of the goalline today was Dawan Landry. He loved being back closer to the line of scrimmage. On one of the first plays he laid a great hit on the back just before the line and he got a holler from the guys on the sidelines about being able to hear that hit from back where they were. A couple of plays later he crushed Mike Cox for a 3-yard loss. Landry was not to be beaten on the ground.

9. Darrell Robertson took advantage of his height once again. He batted down a pass to the flats from Reggie Ball. I have a feeling we'll see a lot of that in the next 3 years.
