GT Hoops Recruits - Senior Update

Georgia Tech recently signed four future members for basketball. All four are off to nice starts to their senior seasons. They have all begun with offensive explosions, including a 20 point effort from the Center of the Future.

All 4 Georgia Tech recruits have started their senior seasons with good games.

Zach Peacock's Norland squad is 4-0 including a road victory at last year's state champs Miami Senior. Zach has had games of 25 (opponent had 24), 26, 35, 25. Not surprisingly he is also his teams leading rebounder and shot blocker and has hit a few threes for good measure. His Norland squad is currently ranked #2 in the state and he was the Miami Herald Player of the Week last week after his 26 pt, 12 rebound performance against Miami Senior.

Brad Sheehan had his first game last weekend and scored 20 pts in an easy 58-37 win.

Javaris Crittenton had a 45 pt outburst in a close loss to South Cobb.

Thaddeus Young is off to a huge start averaging around 30 pts and 12 rbs per game. He has been basically unstoppable, able to take over games at will. One well regarded Kentucky insider who saw him at the Murray CO Hoopfest last weekend said if anything he is better than his reputation and is going to have a huge impact as a freshman. Brandon Wright was at the same tournament and nearly put up a triple double in his game (against a different team) but the KY insider said that Young is more impressive and will be better early in his college career.
