Georgia WR Favors The Jackets

I first got a look at Sidney Haynes almost a month ago when I received Peachtree Ridge HS film from head coach Blair Armstrong. He immediately shot up my board of big time wideouts in the Peach State and he should have numerous offers by the time his recruitment is over.

"I got my first offer from Ball State the other day. It felt good to get that first one out of the way," Sidney Haynes said.

Haynes names an early in-state leader.

"Number one on my list is Georgia Tech. I just love the education there and the atmosphere on campus. I also like Vanderbilt, Florida, Virginia and Florida State.

What stands out about the other four schools on his list?

Vanderbilt: "My parents really like that school a lot and they're interested in me a lot."

Florida: "Just a football powerhouse and I've liked them since I was a little kid."

Virginia: "They're just really interested in me."

Florida State: "I have some family down there in Tallahassee."

Haynes is looking to contribute quickly at the next level.

"I'll probably just pick the best school where I can play the fastest."

Sidney is a big WR at 6'4 and over 200lbs. He glides in the open field and with his size, can be a definite weapon in the redzone. Check out why we think so highly of him here in this presentation from ScoutTV:
