Georgia QB Talks Junior Days

Georgia QB Matt Moody is one of a handful of big QB's in the Peach State this year. He's been making his rounds on the junior day circuit and he talks about some of his visits right here with Scout.com.

"I visited Georgia Tech yesterday. That went real well. I live everything up there and I like Coach Nix. I'm going to East Carolina tomorrow and then to Duke on Saturday," Matt Moody said.

Moody attended the big event in Tuscaloosa a few weeks back.

"I went to Alabama's junior day and I really liked it. They get after it in practice a lot. I like Coach Radar and Coach Shula. There's great tradition there and it would be unbelievable to be quarterback at Alabama."

The Blue Devils, Tide and Yellow Jackets sit atop his favorites list.

"Duke, Alabama and Georgia Tech are probably the top 3 right now. Vanderbilt is also talking to my coach a lot."

What stands out about his favorite schools?

Duke: "I think they're getting the right things in place to turn it around. They've been recruiting well and I like Coach Roof and what they are going to be doing. Also they have great academics."

Alabama: "The tradition is unbelievable and my friend Chris Capps plays there for them. I really enjoyed their camp."

Georgia Tech: "I've been going to Tech games since I was little because it's so close. I toured the campus and it's really nice. I get a good feel for Coach Nix and it's close to home."

Moody will attend the Scout.com Combine at Georgia Tech on April 15th…
