For those of you without a Total Access Pass, here is a taste of the report...

4. Jamal Lewis absolutely put together some nasty hits today. One was the best of the spring season and would have made "jacked up" on ESPN. Andrew Smith bobbled a pass and finally corralled it. He took one step and then acted like the play was over. There was no whistle so Jamal continued on his path and lit into Andrew and made a sound like you wouldn't believe. Smith came off of his feet. After being on the ground briefly he hopped up and started looking for the ball as if it had been a fumble...not sure if it would have been considered complete. To Andrew Smith's credit, he caught a pass on the very next play in the middle of the field.

5. Jamal Lewis wasn't done. Another play was called a sack on Garner but he let loose a long pass anyway. The receiver, Greg Smith, and two defensive backs continued to play catch with it. Since the play was kind of over, Garner's pass was left up in the air. Greg went up to get it and came down as Lewis laid the smack down. It wasn't as graphic as the first hit but it still hurt to watch just the same.
