Steven Threet is a big quarterback prospect from Adrian High School in Adrien, Mich. Late last week, Steven took part in the Elite 11 quarterback camp at Georgia Tech, and he took some time to soak in the Atlanta atmosphere while displaying his skills with other top signal-callers from across the nation.

"Overall, it was a good trip," said the 6-foot-5-inch, 230-pounder. "Coach [Chan] Gailey wasn't in town, but I got to speak to the offensive coordinator, Coach [Patrick] Nix. I took a tour of the school Thursday night."

Steven said he has an offer from Georgia Tech on the table, as well as a trio of other offers from Indiana, Miami (Ohio) and Central Michigan. He said the Tech coaches told him the team plans to bring in one quarterback from the 2007 class. Steven is happy to have the Tech offer, but said he does not have a leader at this time.

"I'm keeping my options open," he said. "I haven't really come up with a time table [for a decision]. I don't want to rush things."

Last fall, Steven said he threw for roughly 1,600 yards and 20 touchdowns for Adrian. He described his strengths under center as "throwing in the pocket and my ability to move around – getting out of the pocket and reading defenses."

When the time comes for him to make a decision, what will factor into Steven's ultimate college choice?

"The main thing is just being comfortable with the coaching staff and the school," he said.
