Jackets sweep their way to Omaha!

The Georgia Tech baseball team, led by its potent offense, soundly defeated the College of Charleston for the second time in as many days, 12-3. The sweep was the second in a row for a Yellow Jacket team that seems to be hitting its stride at just the right time.

The sweep was the second in a row for a Yellow Jacket team that seems to be hitting its stride at just the right time. The Jackets are the first of eight teams to qualify for this year's College World Series in Omaha.

This will be Georgia Tech's third trip to the College World Series. They also made the field of 8 back in 1994 and 2002. With today's win, Georgia Tech also reached 50 wins for the season.
