Scout.com talked with Josh Nesbitt today and pretty much found out that his recruiting hasn't changed much over the past few weeks. He still has about 9 or 10 offers from a lot of major schools and he hasn't decided on a leader yet.

Josh, how is the recruiting coming along?

"It is about the same that its has been for the past few weeks. I get a lot of letters and stuff from all the schools that are recruiting me and it has been pretty steady too.

Do you have a front runner for your commitment?

"No sir I don't. All the schools I am considering are pretty much even. I'd have to say it is wide open.

Georgia Tech picked up a verbal from Steven Threet, does that take them out of the picture?

No sir, not at all, they are still up there with all the other schools that I am considering."

Which schools are the ones that you can recall that are recruiting you the hardest?

Tech, Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, Central Florida, and North Carolina are the ones that come to mind right off the bat."

When deciding on which college to attend, what will be you most import factor, academics, playing time, of being comfortable at that school?

"I'd have to say my education will be what determines which school I will attend. That is important to me.

Okay, have you decided on a major?

"No sir, I'm open to what I major in right now."

One last question, if a school asked you during the recruiting process if you would be willing to change from QB to Safety or Cornerback, would that eliminate them from your decision?

"Yes sir, I want to be a QB in college and it is important to me in making my decision."

Josh Nesbitt is a high profile recruit that has a lot of schools clamoring for his services. While education is the main factor in making his decision, that school should be ready to give Josh his chance at being the quarterback of the team.

We have set up a time to get another update from Josh very soon. Hopefully, he will have some movement in his recruiting. He has stated several times that he would like to have his recruitment completed before his high school season begins. Stay tuned for more on this high profile athlete's recruitment.
