GoJackets.com correspondent Dale McDuffie caught up with Adrien Robinson for a quick update on how his recruiting is coming along. The star wide receiver from Warren Central HS in Indianapolis says things are going well, with a lot of schools in contact with him and quite a few offers.

Adrien, which schools are recruiting you the hardest right now?

"Well I would have to say that Georgia Tech and Indiana are the two school giving me the most attention right now."

Do you have any favorites as of this time?

"No sir, no favorites right now but if one team would give me an offer they would move up a lot in my eyes.

Okay, which schools have offered you and which would move up a lot in your eyes if they offered?

"Right now I have offers from Indiana, Louisville, West Virgina, Marshall, Michigan State, Mississippi State and Purdue. If Georgia Tech offered, they would move up a lot in my interest in them. I really enjoyed the camp down there and the coach recruiting me, Buddy Geis, is real nice and enjoyable to be around. I like him a lot."

Speaking of camps, how many have you been to so far?

"I've been to the one day camp at Georgia Tech plus I went to ones at Indiana and Michigan."

I noticed that you are listed as a tight end, is that the position you will play in college?

"Well, most schools have been recruiting me as wide receiver and that is one I'd like to play at while I am in college."

When do you hope to have a decision made by as to which college you want to go to?

"I am going to take all five of my official visits first and then make a decision from those visits."

Do you have any lined up as to which five schools will get the official visits?

"Right now, I know of three that I will most definitely take. I will go to Georgia Tech, West Virginia and Louisville. I haven't made up my mind as to which schools I will choose to take the other two visits."

Adrien is drawing a lot of attention from some very good schools, and it appears that he is waiting on one school in particular to come across with an offer before he really gets down to making a decision. He has set up a date in September to take the ACT and then start setting up his visits.
