"I can't even name them. That's a lot of people. Just about every school out there."
D'Angelo McCray had previously been committed to the Florida Gators, but that has changed recently, and when asked if he had any current favorites, the defensive stalwart listed off four lucky schools.
McCray, who racked up 75 tackles, 12 sacks, and 23 tackles for loss last season, described what he likes about each of his top four schools.
"With South Carolina, they've got Spurrier there. Illinois, I know some people up there. Georgia Tech, I've got a couple of friends that go there. At Ole Miss, Ed Orgeron is trying to turn that program around."
McCray, who could play either defensive tackle or defensive end at the next level, explained why he is no longer committed to the Gators.
"I'm just looking around right now to see if that was the best fit for me."
He is planning on taking his official visits during the regular season, but he does not yet have a timeframe for his final decision
"I don't even know right now. I'll probably wait until after my senior season."
Lastly, McCray says there are a couple of simple factors that will ultimately play into his decision.
"I'm just trying to go somewhere where I know people and I'm comfortable. Then the education and that's about it."
