"I don't want to be bothered with making my decision right now because it's summer time, so I am going to commit after my first game. The season starts August 25," Everson said. "I don't know what will make me choose one school over the other. I guess whoever is recruiting me the hardest.
"Both UCLA and Georgia Tech are recruiting me the hardest and they both have a big lead over all the other schools. I have no preference between cornerback and wide receiver; I'm being recruited to play on both sides of the ball at both schools," he said.
"I like Georgia Tech's setting because it's down South. I met the coaches and some players last spring break, but I want to visit again next weekend. I like the way the South teaches discipline.
"I like UCLA because of its setting in California. I want to visit the week after I visit Georgia Tech, because I haven't been yet. I like coach (D.J.) McCarthy (receivers) and the head coach (Karl Dorrell). By the way they've spent time with me, I know they'll be by my side the whole way," he said.
"Iowa did well last year. When push comes to shove, they seem to always do well. Coach (Norm) Parker (defensive coordinator and linebackers) is basically a good coach all-around, and that's who's recruiting me."
Everson reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 19 ACT.
