Here is a portion for today's practice report.

1. Beach Report - Jacob Lonowski, Will Miller, Xavier McGuire and Loyall Gause all started the day at the beach. Taalib Tucker joined them about 10 minutes into the practice. X is in a foot sleeve. Tucker's injury was not serious. On a positive note, Jamaal Evans was running for the trainers and then did laps with Eric. This is usually a prelim to a player coming back to practice.

2. The players were in pads and shorts today but this didn't stop a rash of minor dings. There must have been a cloud over the field. Calvin Johnson tweaked his knee and had it wrapped in ice and Kenny Scott also hurt his foot. Both players walked back to the stadium under their own power after practice (neither seemed very concerned about their injuries).

3. Kick off coverage - They continued to work on different phases of the coverage. Today they sent players down in groups of three. The return team had two different sets of players with blocking pads. They were lined up 20 yards apart. The coverage team had to run through the pads and then get the runner.
