We ate lunch and stuff and then Logan and I went back to the players' lounge, while Threet, Melton, and Morgan all went out into Atlanta. Logan and I chilled with Trevor Bray and a few other players in the lounge and watched some of the games on TV while we waited on Nick Claytor and the other three (Threet, Melton, and Morgan). Once they all arrived we just talked and watched the games in the players' lounge until all the other commits/recruits got there.
Around 6 we went down Yellow Jacket Alley; it gave me goose bumps. I can't wait to strap it on for real. But afterwards we did all our recruiting stuff before we came on the field. When we were on the field "The Swarm" was going crazy yelling out to all of us commits. It was fun.
After all that we headed up to our seats and watched the game. It was a heart breaker but I was still very impressed with Tech's defense and Coach Tenuta's play calling on defense. Also I was extremely impressed with the play calling that allowed the Mike backer, the position I'm slated to play, to move freely from sideline to sideline. I like being able to move both ways so I came away happy last night.
After the game we were able to talk to some of the players and coaches. Djay Jones assured me that Tech was still going to be great this year, and that one game means nothing. That they would bounce back and be successful. I also got a good opportunity to speak with Coach Jean-Mary and Coach Tenuta after the game. They expressed to me that games like this happen and it shows that they are that close to being a championship team. Afterwards all the commits met with Coach Gailey and he wished us luck and told us that our recruiting class would help Tech get to that Championship level.
As for other recruits, Willie White and I finally got to meet up. It was cool talking to him. I think I talked to him the most out of all the commits. And of course hanging with my usual crew: Threet, Dwyer, Claytor, and Walls. Melton was fun too though."
