October 28 is when Cameron Baker plans to make his official visit to Georgia Tech. The WR recruit from Osceola, Ark. told Alan NeSmith of GoJackets.com, " I'm going to take my official visit for the Miami and Georgia Tech game, the homecoming game." The big ACC match-up, along with the festivities and atmosphere of homecoming seemed to be a major draw for Baker's visit.

When asked about his own football season, Baker was able to sympathize with the Jackets' upsetting defeat to Notre Dame, as the Seminoles lost their own home-opening first game against Blytheville by only a TD. With 4 catches for 30 yards last weekend, Baker commented that "it was kind of a sluggish game for me because I was in double and triple coverage all night."

Although Blytheville's defense proved troublesome to the Seminole QB's #1 target, Baker's performance wasn't hindered by his old injury, stating that his hamstring is "great; it's 100%. I went to the Arkansas camp and ran a 4.3/40."

Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Duke and Tennessee still rank as Baker's top choices, although he currently doesn't have a favorite. With the number of scholarships dwindling at Georgia Tech, Baker doesn't think the Yellow Jackets should be eliminated from his list, and plans to stick with his original timetable for choosing a school after the Seminoles' post-season: "I'm still waiting until possibly January to make my final decision."
