Third OL Commitment For Yellow Jackets

Clyde Yandell is one of the top offensive lineman in the state of Florida, having garnered over 22 offers. After officially visiting one of his favorite teams last week, the Nease High School standout has made his decision. The 6-6 310 pound lineman verbally committed to Coach Chan Gailey and the Yellow Jackets.

Standing 6-foot-5 and over 300 pounds, Clyde Yandell is one big load to handle for opposing defenders.

Yandell didn't play on the offensive line last season, but thanks to a strong performance at the Scout.com All-American Combine in March, he has become one of the state's top offensive line prospects.

With over 22 offers from schools around the country (including Florida, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Maryland to name a few) Clyde certainly had a difficult decision ahead of him. But after his visit to Atlanta last week, the decision became much easier.

Although GoJackets.com has yet to confirm the decision with Clyde's family or coaches, it appears he has decided to play his college football for Coach Chan Gailey and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Clyde will be the third offensive lineman to verbally commit, along with Scout.com's #28-ranked OL Nick Claytor (Gainesville) and Joseph Gilbert of Cartersville.
