October was a great month for the Yellow Jacket when they added Clyde Yandell, Albert Rocker and Cedric Everson to an already highly touted 2007 recruiting class. Morgan adds some much needed future talent for Tech along the defensive line.
Tech took their only real hit in the recruiting class this year when things didn't work out between defensive lineman Jacoby Monroe and the Jackets. This commitment will certainly take the sting off of that loss.
Look for Tech to basically close out the recruiting class with one more commitment bringing the total number to 19 commits. At this time that is all they can sign. Something would have to open up before February for Tech to be able to take any more players to this class. Tech continues to target defensive linemen, defensive backs and wide receivers for the last spot. The first to commit will have that spot so it may not sit out there for long.
