Season Ends for Jackson & Little

The season came to an end on Friday night for two Henry County stars as Peach County handed them their final loss of the season.

QB Drew Little (sophomore) and WR/DB Chris Jackson (junior) finished with some nice numbers for the game and for the season but that's no consolation for the guys at this time.

Rex Robertson, the offensive coordinator for Henry County High, talked about the end of the season and what's next for his two standouts.

"Our season ended Friday at the hands of Peach County," said Robertson. "Drew threw for 310 yards and 2 TDs. Chris caught 13 passes for 196 and a td. A great game for them, but we still lost. On the season Drew set a new Henry County passing record throwing for 1,900 yards. Chris had 45 catches in 9 games. He really excelled on defense as well with 7 interceptions. Now we will move on to basketball as both will play."

Recruiting should really pick up for Chris Jackson in 2007 as more programs learn about him. So far though some big-time programs are already courting him, like Georgia Tech, Florida State and Tennessee. Little is a 6'5" QB as a sophomore, so look for his name to come up a lot in recruiting talk too over the next two seasons. Top Stories
