Willie, are you still solid to Georgia Tech?
"Yes sir, very much so. I chose Georgia Tech because of everything they have to offer and the fact that the entire staff made me feel at home."
With the news circulating around about Coach Gailey interviewing with the Miami Dolphins and their head coaching job, does that play any part in rethinking your verbal to Georgia Tech?
"No sir, I think Coach Gailey will be there but I picked Tech because I loved the school and what they have to offer. Don't get me wrong, Coach Gailey is a big part of why I picked Georgia Tech but I am a Jacket 100% regardless."
There is so much talk about how close this recruiting class is. Do you think that everyone being so close will keep this class together?
"I do believe that there is a lot of truth in that. We talk or text one another so much and we are indeed close. We feel that we can be a part of something special. Right now I say all of us are committed to GT no matter what happens."
I spoke with your Dad tonight and he says you are a student of the game. What are some of the things you do that helps you to become a better player?
"I like to study each position on the field. If I know what they (players at other positions) are doing, then I can play my position better and be a better asset to the team. If I know where other players are supposed to be, I can be a vocal leader and help them know what it going on."
Your Dad told me to ask you a question. What is football?
"Football is 90% mental and 10% physical. You get that 90% down and if you have talent you will be a good football player. I like to study and know what football is, not just play it and hope talent alone gets me places. I really plan on playing on Sunday's in the NFL and I know that talent alone will not get you there."
Georgia Tech is getting a special player and more importantly a great person in Willie White. This writer feels he will be a great asset to Georgia Tech no matter what position he plays.
