Nick Claytor, the top rated offensive lineman in the state of Georgia spoke with Scout.com to let everyone know how he stands going down the stretch run towards signing day.

Nick, I understand you had a great game in the recent all star game? "Yes sir I did, I really enjoyed the game and was told I had an outstanding performance. Hearing that makes all the hard work worthwhile."

Yes, from the highlights you really dominated your man on the line of scrimmage. "I wanted to show that I am a good offensive tackle and that I can take control of my man opposite of me. I was told I had hurt his feelings with my play against him."

Signing day is a less than a month away, are you still a solid commit to Georgia Tech or are you opening up your recruitment with the news that Coach Gailey is interviewing with the Miami Dolphins? "At first it caught me off guard that Coach was looking at the Dolphins but I chose Georgia Tech because of Georgia Tech and everything that Tech has to offer me as a football player and student even though Coach Gailey had a lot to do with my decision. I am going to Georgia Tech. Coach Giff Smith, Coach Kelly along with Coach D (Coach Joe D'Alessandris) are ones that have made me feel like family there and they have let us (all the recruits) know they feel Coach Gailey will be the coach at Georgia Tech."

Well, since you are solid to Georgia Tech are you still planning on going to ESPN Zone on signing day? "Yes sir I am. Kyle Jackson, Roddy Jones and I are ones that are definitely headed over there to sign our LOI's that day. I hope that Josh Nesbitt and a couple of others can make it.

Well another of Georgia Tech's top recruits for 2007 firms up his decision to sign with Georgia Tech and by re-affirming his decision to sign with Georgia Tech come February 7th this should make the Georgia Tech faithful feel at ease.
