Tech to Host Two on the 20th

Georgia Tech's recruiting class of 2007 is now up to 19. There are still two players of great interest to the Yellow Jackets before they can close the door on this year's recruiting class. One will visit next weekend.

Georgia Tech's recruiting class of 2007 is now up to 19 with the addition this week of Safety prospect Morgan Burnett. There are still two players of great interest to the Yellow Jackets before they can close the door on this year's recruiting class. The final two players still being pursued by Tech are ATH Malachi Lewis and DL Jason Peters.

Peters took an official visit to Georgia Tech on December 9. Peters has planned 3 final trips before Tech coaches will likely know his decision. He is at Nebraska this weekend and still has upcoming trips planned for Florida (January 20th) and LSU (January 26th).

Next weekend though (January 20th), Georgia Tech will welcome the other big target on their list. Malachi Lewis is listed by Scout.com as the #6 SLB, however he could play a number of positions including RB, WR, TE, S, in addition to LB. In addition to GT, Malachi is also reportedly looking at USC, Oregon, California, Miami, and Mississippi.

Lewis will be one of two visitors to the Flats next weekend as current commit Mario Butler will also be in attendance. Butler is the only current commit to have not taken his official visit.
