Tavarres King is a stand-up, class-act kid. He will represent himself, his family, and whoever relates to him soundly wherever he ends up playing in college. He is a great athlete with interest from schools all over the country.

Tavarres has visited many places and has received much interest from the likes of LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, Mississippi, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech. However, two schools still have an edge with him.

"Georgia, by far, is recruiting me the hardest," King Said, "UGA is great, and the fans are amazing. Athens is a special place. Coach Richt really stands out to me. Clemson is also doing a good job. My Dad played at Clemson and I like the atmosphere there as well."

Tavarres recently visited a practice at Georgia Tech and had this to say: "Georgia Tech is a good place, but I'm not a city guy, so I definitely don't see myself there."

Tavarres wants to major in architecture and says Clemson has that major, however if he decides to go to UGA he could do something else. He wants to stay close to home and plans to make a commitment before his senior season at Habersham Central.
