"Most of the time I don't listen when people compare us, but I think I'm better," Coley says. "He (Pat) said so too, he thinks I'm better."
Well let's just say it will be very interesting to follow Coley's career if these statements are correct. Coley White plays quarterback and also shows blazing, 4.4 speed. Central Michigan wants him at quarterback, Georgia Tech at cornerback, and West Virginia at wide receiver. Obviously, White is showing great potential all over the field. He says he wants to play quarterback but would be willing to play another position, whether offense or defense.
Central Michigan and Georgia Tech are recruiting him the hardest. Coley already has an offer from Central Michigan and thinks one is on the way from West Virginia. He says if they do offer him, that still won't give them any special advantage. Recently, at Junior Day, Chan Gailey offered him a scholarship to Georgia Tech. He had a little bit to say about his visit to Atlanta.
"The visit was good. The facilities are amazing, and the team is great. I got to meet with the coaches and go sit and talk with the head coach. I like how they are strict with their academics."
Coley patterns his game after whom else, his brother Pat. He says they have the same style at quarterback. They both have the speed to change a game at any time. "He's been a great role model for me," White said of his brother.
Right now Coley is wide open, open to any school. He does not have a plan to commit at any time. He wants to major in business, but isn't completely sure. Recently he has registered a 4.48 forty time, benched 210, squatted 275, and cleaned 200.
