Nick Craig, the big, strong defensive tackle from Carrollton High School, has been making visits and is waiting for his first offer. He said though that it should come soon because many coaches will be out to see him this spring to evaluate him. Nick has already visited Mississippi State, Auburn, and recently attended Georgia Tech's Junior Day. Here is how he said it went:

"It went good. It was a really good experience. I looked at all the facilities and they were great. I talked to Coach D'Alessandris quite a bit; he's my recruiting coach. I also got to talk to Coach Smith, my position coach. I really like the way they run things there, the scrimmage and everything was set up really cool. I like the athletic coaches, the campus, plus Tech is close. It was only a short, forty-five minute drive over there."

Nick is currently wide open, as he is waiting on offers, as previously stated. The main schools recruiting him are Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Wake Forest, and Ole Miss. He plans to eventually head out and visit Wake, Clemson, and a couple other schools just to look around. He says he wants to go to a school and "fall in love with the system, the defense, and somewhere that needs a defensive lineman."

GoJackets.com will be in contact with Nick for an update later this spring.
