DeWitt Stuckey: Update on California LB

DeWitt Stuckey, a linebacker out of Stockton, California, is being recruited by many top schools across the nation. DeWitt is being recruited as a weakside linebacker, although he says he may convert to strong safety at the next level. Over the past couple weeks, the offers have started to pile up.

"Hey man, I just got offers from Arizona, Boise State, and Georgia Tech. Stanford also told me their offer for me is in the mail."

This now brings DeWitt Stuckey's offer count up to eight. More schools are beginning to contact DeWitt including Cal and UNLV. He recently visited Cal on a non-football related trip and was able to look around on Thursday. He also has just been to San Diego State and USC, stating, "They both were beautiful campuses and the people were nice. The only difference in the schools is that USC is already a winning program while San Diego State is upcoming." Stuckey was supposed to visit Fresno State on Saturday but it didn't work out.

He plans future visits this month to Oregon on the 27th and Oregon State on the 29th. He also said, "I'm working on getting out to Atlanta, but definitely, Georgia Tech will be one of my officials." Top Stories
