Quentin Williams, a standout prospect out of Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, caught up with GoJackets.com on his way home from football practice. The 6-4, 230 pound tight end already holds offers from the likes of Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Northwestern, Michigan State, Rutgers, and Boston College. He had recently added an offer from Stanford making it 15 offers, when we talked to him. All the schools are mostly recruiting him as a tight end, however many would give him the option as an outside linebacker or a defensive end.

Williams says he is wide open for the most part and hasn't got a chance to narrow anything down. He just finished a busy baseball season and will soon sit down with his father, look at his situation and discuss things like favorites, camps, and visits. Quentin's already visited Northwestern (he has a brother there), Pittsburgh, and has gone to games at Penn State and Notre Dame.

When asked about what his main factors in his recruitment are going be, he replied:

"I want to go to a school that has a good education and a solid football program. I have to like the head coach and the coaching staff. There also should be a great environment; I want to like the people around the campus where I live. Location may be a little bit of a factor. I have family in Oklahoma, at Northwestern, and in Northern California. It wouldn't be a huge deal though, not to have family where I go."

Quentin does not yet have a timetable for a decision, he says it could be early but he wants to see all the schools.
