Sean Renfree: Decision could come soon

Sean Renfree, a top QB prospect on the top of Georgia Tech's and some other schools' wish list, recently attended a team camp at Stanford this weekend while also stopping in Las Vegas for the Elite 11 regional camp. Renfree stated that he performed very well and "made the Elite 11."

Sean commented on the visit to Stanford and his recruiting situation with them:

"I've been there three times before; it's really impressive. I grew up thinking about going there, just for academics though, never for football. But now, football is a factor. I talk to Stanford's Offensive Coordinator David Shaw and Coach Lance Anderson, who recruits Arizona for them. I never talk to Coach Harbaugh."

He then said a little about his recruitment with Georgia Tech and the contact he has with their coaches:

"I just got off the phone with (Offensive Coordinator) Coach (John) Bond. I just talked to him awhile and asked him some questions about the offense and such. He's laid back, fun to work with, and seems really fun to play for. I love his confidence for working for a national championship. The offense over there has a lot of potential under Gailey. I also keep in contact with Coach Gailey and Coach Modkins regularly through texting."

Sean says he has a good idea of which teams he will be choosing (as in a top 2 or 3 schools) but isn't willing to release them yet. But he did give GoJackets.com a broader list:

"If I had to give a few schools from which I'll be choosing, I'd say Boise State, Oregon State, Arizona State, Stanford, and Georgia Tech. I may make a decision at the end of this week if I'm really comfortable with a school; however I might push it back to early July if I'm not."
