Etienne, how's the recruiting coming along?
"Everything is going great, very good actually. I have no complaints."
What's next on your agenda?
I noticed that these visits you have been making are unofficial ones. Have you set up or plan on making official visits anytime soon?
"No sir, I want to play it by ear and see how things go on these unofficial visits and then decide if I want to make any official visits or not and if I do, which schools they will be."
Which schools are recruiting you the hardest?
Do you have any favorites or leaders right now?
"No sir, all are pretty even right now. I can't say I have a leader or a top 5 at this point."
Who are the coaches at each school that are recruiting you?
"Well for Miami, its mostly a group of coaches that are recruiting me. Georgia Tech has Coach Jeep Hunter and Coach Brian Jean-Mary. Notre Dame has Coach Brown, Ohio State has Coach Sickle, and Florida has Coach Holiday.
What stands out the most to you about these schools?
Well for Notre Dame I'd have to say their history, good recruiting and the possibility I could be a good fit up there.
Georgia Tech, well what can you say about a degree from them. It is something that is valuable. It's a hard school to get into and they need linebackers. It's a college campus in a big city and I like being in a big city.
With Florida, they have talent and just won a National Championship and can play for another. Plus, they need linebackers too.
Miami is my home town which would allow for family to see me play plus the coaches are real cool too.
Lastly, Ohio State is a school that I camped at 3 years ago and I liked it. That is why I am going up there again to see what it is like now.
Do you have a time table for a decision?
"No sir, I'd like to get a good feel of all the schools. Still, I'd like to have a decision made by November but will be in no hurry other than that.
Well, this writer has set up a time to talk to Etienne after his visits to Ohio State and Notre Dame to see if there are any movements in recruiting process.
