Brandon Watts, a linebacker prospect out of Washington County High School, is a player that Georgia Tech fans should keep an eye out for over the next year. Brandon has been extended an early offer, his first, by the Yellow Jackets at the beginning of his junior season.

Watts' comments on his first scholarship offer:

"Georgia Tech has offered me. They are the first one to offer. I went to two camps at Tech, one which was inside the stadium. I also got to see the facilities and the practice field. I liked it and all, I liked the stadium."

Brandon isn't sure what he wants to major in but says he'll figure that out sometime this year, as he has a lot of time to think about that. His recruitment is open and he says he is interested in going to either an ACC or an SEC school. Watts will be recruited at either safety or linebacker; he plays safety for his high school team along with wide receiver and tight end on offense.

What position does Brandon want to play?

"I don't care where I play really, either safety or linebacker. I want to just play on defense."

Will Georgia Tech's early offer play a role in his recruiting?

"Yes sir it does, them offering early will play a factor. It means a lot."
