Malcolm Munroe is one of the top linebackers yet to make a verbal commitment. This past weekend, he took an official visit to Georgia Tech for the Yellow Jackets' home contest with ACC rival Clemson. Scout.com caught up with Malcolm to see how his visit went.

Malcolm, it is known to all that you were on your official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend. How did your visit go?

"It went great. It was just a great visit. I can say it almost the perfect visit."

What did you do on your visit?

"Well we ate (laughs). We went to the game and it was great. I got a chance to talk to the players, coaches and fans. Later that night, we went out and had a really great time."

What were the main factors that made this visit so great?

"The fans, players, and coaches made me feel like I was part of the family and that is important to me. I mean the fans were very friendly, the players and coaches made you feel like you were than part of a team, that you're part of a family."

Well, after hearing that, I have to ask, did you give a verbal to Georgia Tech on your visit?

"Yes sir, I did. I sat down with Coach Jeep Hunter my recruiting coach and Coach Gailey and told them I wanted to come to Georgia Tech. I gave them my verbal right then as I knew it was over during my visit."

So now that you have given your verbal to Georgia Tech, will you make any more visits at all?

"No sir, I'm done. My decision is firm and my recruitment is over. I am very solid to Georgia Tech."

What were the factors that made Georgia Tech stand out over the other schools you were considering?

"The love of the city of Atlanta was one. The campus, the players, the coaches and most importantly, the academics of Georgia Tech. When you add it all up, I knew Georgia Tech was the school for me. The atmosphere of the campus is great, and it was also easy in the fact that my parents were real strong on Georgia Tech to start with and that is important too."

From talking to several recruits the past few years, a lot have commented that they love the fact that even though Georgia Tech is in the city of Atlanta, once you set foot on campus, you feel like you are in another city - sort of a small city inside of Atlanta. Did it seem that way to you?

"Yes sir, I did indeed get that feeling. Even though the city of Atlanta is something I really like, I did like that feeling too."

What position are you being recruited to play at Georgia Tech?

I will play the "will" linebacker position. I really like playing there.

Do you feel that you will fit into Coach Tenuta's defenses and the schemes he runs?

"Yes sir, I know he likes to blitz a lot and I love blitzing. I feel my style of play will be a perfect fit for his defense."

One last question, who in the NFL is your favorite player and do you like to model your play after him?

"I like Ray Lewis a lot and I try to play like him. He plays real intense, fast but he has fun playing and that's the way I try to play.

Georgia Tech has picked up not only a great linebacker but a young man with great character. You could tell in our conversation that this young man will make Georgia Tech proud during his playing days and his academics days. Malcolm was very upbeat and you could tell he's extremely happy with his decision and that he is a man of his word. Great pick up for the Yellow Jackets.
