The phrase "system" has been thrown about Georgia Tech recruiting ever since Head Coach Paul Johnson took took the job in Atlanta. Media and fans alike have obsessed over players fitting into the new Jacket "system".
What that system ultimately becomes will become more clear during spring
practice, but one thing is clear, offensive guard prospect Omoregie Uzzi of
Chamblee High School fits any system.
Uzzi committed to Georgia Tech Saturday Night according to Jeff
Hood of the Atlanta Journal Consitution.
What the Jackets will be getting is a big (6-3/300), fast (5.0 forty), smart
(3.0 GPA) lineman that has a load of natural ability.
Uzzi helped lead a surprising Chamblee team to the State Semi-Finals this
season, and his commitment is a welcome addition to the Yellow Jacket Class of
'08 as he becomes the most highly decorated (4 Stars, Southeast 150 member)
player in the class thus far.
Jackets Add Big Commitment
