Now that signing day is behind us the staff at GoJackets.com is going to preview what we can look forward to in the 2009 class. The focus of the coaches in 2009 will be on the home state of Georgia. Each coach has been assigned a portion of the state. This, along with the fact that this should be a year similar to (Class of) 2007 talent-wise, should lead us to a very promising year in recruiting.
Identifying the defensive backs for 2009 is not as clearly defined as it was for the linebacker and defensive line positions. Darren Myles
, Kejaun Riley and Kenneth Gilstrap
are three that were invited to Tech's elite junior day. Gilstrap is being recruited as an athlete and could wind up on either side of the ball. We'll take a look at some of the possibilities and bring you interviews with some of these early possibilities.
