Miller Grove High School's Stephen Hill is a tall wide receiver prospect standing in at 6'4" and 190 lbs. He is being recruited by many schools in the southeast and has recently picked up a couple scholarship offers.

What schools are recruiting Stephen?

"Central Florida, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Miami of Ohio, Clemson and Georgia Tech are all recruiting me right now. I just picked up two offers from Central Florida and Mississippi State. I'm hoping to get offers from Alabama, UNC, and Tennessee. Oh yeah, and Georgia Tech, too."

Stephen said he's already been to Junior Days at Georgia Tech and Alabama. He had this to say about those trips and their coaches:

GT - "It was very nice. I like the facilities there, the coaches, and the academics--gotta have that. It's also just 2 hours from my grandma, which is good. Coach Johnson is very nice. I didn't get a chance to speak to him one-on-one though. Although I do speak with (wide receivers) Coach (Buzz) Preston. He's great, he's always wanting me to call and touch base with him. He's recruiting me."

Bama - "It was pretty much the same as Tech. Coach Saban is a great guy. He's not outspoken and tells you what he wants and would need from you."

Stephen says he will try to attend a Junior Day at Miami (OH) and see spring games at Tennessee, Clemson, UNC, and Central Florida. In the summer, his plans include stops at Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn and Georgia Tech for camps. He said his best attributes on the field are his speed, hands, footwork and size. He says he is working on and looking to improve coming off the ball and blocking.

Hill has another teammate being recruited by Georgia Tech and many other schools in Kenneth Gilstrap. What is their relationship like?

"Yeah, we're friends. We go back 'til like we were 4 or 5. We talk about playing together a little bit sometimes."

What will Stephen be looking for when chosing a school and when might he make a decision?

"I'm looking for a home away from home. I want to try to be productive on and off the field, and in the classroom. That's important. I don't have a leader or a decision time at the moment. I'll probably wait all the way until February and just enjoy the process."

Look for more updates on Hill, as he said he will keep us updated on his recruiting.
