So who's recruiting him?
"Kentucky, Wake Forest, Louisville, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Indiana, and North Carolina are all sending me stuff. I do not have any offers yet. My favorites would be Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Louisville, and Kentucky."
Has Rico been to any Junior Days and what are his future visit plans?
"I went to Tennessee's Junior Day. I also am going to Louisville's and Mississippi's the next couple weeks. I plan on going to Duke's spring game, and I will also see other schools' spring games. This summer I plan on going to the Nike Combine at Oregon and ones at Alabama and Florida. I will go to as many senior camps as I can also."
Rico has spoken in the past of his favor for Georgia Tech, so what does he really like about them?
"I like them (Tech) a lot. They're getting a new offense and a new offensive coordinator (head coach Paul Johnson). That offense should fit my style of play. It's close to home, too. I've just always liked Georgia Tech. They're coming to my spring practice and hopefully I'll be able to make it there over the summer."
Rico also mentioned Tech wants him as a slot receiver, or slot back, and that is a really attractive factor to him. What will Rico look into the most when making a decision?
"I'm looking for a good coaching staff, how I fit into their style of offense, and location. If an offer comes and has these things I could commit early. I might just wait until the end of the season, though."
Mack says he is also a great student and reports a GPA of between 3.6 and 3.7. He will be in contact with us in the future as his recruitment heats up.
