Dasarte, when we last talked you mentioned that you were going to a practice or two at Georgia Tech. Did you make the trip and how did it go?
"Yes we did. It was a long trip but well worth it. I really enjoyed the campus with the way it is set up and I liked what I saw at practice. I definitely got the feeling that Georgia Tech is a city in a city and I really liked that aspect. As for the practice, the offense is indeed a running backs dream type offense and one that I would like."
Did this trip move Georgia Tech up on your list?
"It most certainly did. It was a very good trip. It's a trip that I will be planning on making again this summer. I don't know exactly when I will be coming back but I know that I will be coming back."
Do you feel that Georgia Tech is high on you too?
"I did get that feeling. They showed me a great time and made me feel real welcome. They told me how they felt I would be a good part of the team."
Did you pick up an offer while you were there?
"Not yet but I have a feeling that I will be getting one soon. I am anxiously waiting for the offer from them. I have family that lives in Logansville and it would be a good fit for me if they offer and I decide that Georgia Tech is the place for me."
What other trips do you have planned in the immediate future?
"I will be going to California on Saturday for their Junior Day and then I will be going to Arizona State right after that trip. I also will be going to Oregon and Oregon State during the 27th and 30th. Plus I will taking in the Nike One Day Camp too held at Stanford."
Last time we talked you hadn't set up any summer camps. Has that changed?
"No sir, I haven't set up any camps yet. I will be doing that soon. Summer is just around the corner so I will have to decide which ones I want to go to plus any other unofficial trips. I want to make the trips before school starts."
You could tell Dasarte had a very good time in Atlanta. This wasn't the first time he has been to Georgia Tech but it seemed this trip really impressed him. He got a chance to see some of the campus despite the rain and is planning on coming back again. That shows there is a lot of interest as it is very long trip from San Francisco.
