Nigel, I understand you and your Dad went to Georgia Tech to watch the T-Day game?
"Yes we did. It was a great experience for the both of us. Everything was perfect from the weather to experiencing everything Georgia Tech had to show us that day. Everyone made me feel like I was at home. The new coaching staff is off to a great start. There were many fans there and everyone was showing their support of the Yellow Jackets. You could tell there is excitement about Georgia Tech just from the spring game alone. It was great."
How did you Dad like the visit?
"He really enjoyed it as much as I did. He got a chance to talk to the fans, players, and some coaches. We both spoke with Coach Wommack for a long time and spoke with Coach Johnson for a fair amount of time. Both were very good to talk to and made us feel like family. We both liked them a lot."
When we last spoke you mentioned that you had some friends on the team. Who are they?
What is next on your list?
"I am training for two combines. I am going to the Scout combine this Sunday and next week I will be going to the Rivals combine. I want to be ready for both combines."
Have you picked up any new offers?
Are there any visits planned by the teams to come to your home for a visit?
How about your spring practice? Will any teams be there?
"Coaches from Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, and Clemson said they would come. They want to check me out in person. They want to make sure of my speed at the linebacker position."
Have you set up any summer camps?
"No sir. I haven't set up any just yet. I do know that my team might be going to a camp plus we will be going to a couple of 7 on 7 camps. I haven't set up any camps at colleges just yet."
Has you decision time table changed since we last spoke?
"No sir. I still plan on using the summer to trim my list down to a manageable few teams. I will then decide sometime between the start of my senior year and signing day. I'll know when the right team is the one for me."
Nigel was extremely upbeat about his trip to Georgia Tech and their T-Day game. He really likes how the fans have taken to the new coaching staff and how much support the fans are giving the Yellow Jackets. Still, he has some major schools recruiting him hard so time will tell who will win out for Nigel.
