Will Jackson is a 6'4" - 280 pound offensive lineman from Farragut, Tennessee. Will took time out this evening to talk to Scout.com about his recruiting and what lies ahead for him on the recruiting trail. He also talked about his visit to Georgia Tech a couple weeks ago to watch them scrimmage.

Will, how did you visit to Georgia Tech go?

"It was great. It was very impressive. I was impressed with the coaches. They are very high energy and truly believe in the system they are installing at Georgia Tech. I loved everything about my visit. It was that good."

Did you talk to any of the coaches?

"I talked to Coach Johnson for about thirty minutes and then I had a chance to talk to Coach Spencer and Coach Sewak the offensive line coaches. I was extremely impressed with how they coach. I went to the coaches offices and talked with Coach Spencer for a good while and then sat down with Coach Sewak and watched film. They truly believe in their system."

Did the coaches talk to you about making a commitment to Georgia Tech?

"No sir. They didn't put any pressure on me to make commitment. I admired that very much. They told me to make the best decision for myself but they wanted me to know they want me at Georgia Tech."

Do you have anymore visits to make before summer?

"I am done visiting schools until the summer. However, I am going to the Nike Camp on May 3rd. That will be it until summer rolls around."

Do your parents go with you on your visits or have you made them by yourself?

"My mom has only been to Georgia Tech. She really liked it as she is very high on the academic schools. My dad has gone with me on most of my visits and he really doesn't have a school that he likes more than the other. He just tells me that it's my decision. He wants me to make one that I feel is best for me. Even though my mom is high on the academics schools, she still says make the decision that fits me the best."

How about summer camps? Have you signed up for any?

"Not yet. I plan on taking in three to five camps this summer. That is also when I plan on taking my official visits. The only one I know for sure is Stanford. I want to check out the school to see what it is all about and see if I like it. The other four I will take my time and decide on them."

How about a decision? Do you have a timetable for making one?

"I plan on going to the camps and the five official visits. I will then make a decision. I will be deciding somewhere between July and September."

Is there a school that is a leader for you?

"No sir. I can't say that I have a leader right now. I can say this though. After my visit to Georgia Tech, there isn't a school that is in front them. I like Tennessee and Auburn but I can't put any of them in front of Georgia Tech."

Dale's Take
As you can tell, Will was very impressed with Georgia Tech. He likes Tennessee and Auburn but he really liked how Coach Johnson and the staff treated him on his visit to Georgia Tech. Coach Spencer and Coach Sewak made a lasting impression on Will as well. While he doesn't have a leader right now, he clearly has a staff that he likes.
