Bryant Enjoys GT Visit

Reginald Bryant stands 6 feet tall and weighs 215 lbs. His last 40 time was a 4.56. The Cairo HS running back made a trip Saturday all the way up to Atlanta to see Georgia Tech play Mississippi State. How'd he like his trip?

"It was a nice visit," said Reginald Bryant. "They showed a lot of interest in me. I mean they showed strong interest in me. I enjoyed the game. With that offense, you never know where the ball is. But they gained positive yards and it's a really good offense. The coaches are a nice staff. They give tough love but that's football. Everybody's cool. It's all cool. I hope I can play for them one day."

What position are the Jackets recruiting Bryant for?

"For running back. It'd be the B-back. I talked to the B-back (Jonathan Dwyer) a lot and paid attention to him in the game. He's a nice player, a really nice athlete, had a great game."

Bryant reports offers from Georgia Tech, NC State, Middle Tennessee State, UAB, and Ohio.

When it comes to choosing a school, what's on his mind?

"Where do I fit at? That's it. I just can't go to a school because it has a good record and all. That's how I see it. I'm not sure when I'll make a commitment, there's no telling. I have no official visits lined up yet."

Bryant seems to be just waiting around and playing it cool. He says he does plan on making it back for another Georgia Tech game. Top Stories
