Orwin, how did you visit to Georgia Tech go this weekend?
"I was only there for Saturday, but I loved every minute of it. I got there about 10 seconds into the first quarter but I came away impressed with what I saw of the offense."
Is that the type of offense you would like?
"Most definitely with me being a running back, it's like a dream offense. I loved how they could score on a long drive and also score with a quick run. I also was impressed with the fact that the starting quarterback got hurt and when the back-up came in, the team didn't seem to miss a beat. You can tell Coach Johnson has this team well prepared and ready."
What else did you like about the offense?
"I liked the fact that they are a running offense but they can and will hurt you with the passing game. That is what is beautiful about their offense."
How about Coach Johnson, did you get a chance to talk to him?
"No sir I didn't but I can tell you that he is a great coach. He is very calm, sure of himself and his team but he can get heated too. He's a coach that any player would love to play for."
Who is recruiting you for Georgia Tech?
"Coach Kelly is my recruiting coach and we have made a very good relationship so far. I like him a lot."
During your short visit, did you get a chance to see the campus?
"I got a chance to see the players lounge and I really liked it. I did see a little bit of the campus and it is one that I could very well see myself being a part of for four or five years. I really liked the way it set."
So, would you say you have a top list of schools?
Do you see yourself making a commitment anytime soon?
"Not really as I would like to take all my official visits before I make a commitment. Right now I know I will take official vists to Southern Miss, Vandy, and Clemson. I might take one to Georgia Tech or Auburn but not sure as I have been to both so many times and plan on visiting Georgia Tech a few more unofficial times so I can see more of the campus and everything Tech has to offer. Plus, I'd love to see more of the offense."
Orwin was very gracious in doing this interview as he was at a 9th grade football game. Orwin came away extremely impressed with Georgia Tech's offense. He mentioned on a couple occasions that the offense was a running back's dream come true. He also liked the way Tech's campus is set in the middle of Atlanta. Still, with the favorable impression, he feels that he owes it to himself to make his official visits and make a wise and sound decision.
