Toney, how did Milton do last night in your play off game with East Paulding?

"It was a very tough game. We lost 43-41 as East Pualding's offense was clicking and we just couldn't stop them. It was hard losing after a good season especially since it was my senior year, but that's the way it goes sometimes. You just do your best every game and some times you come up short."

How did you do?

"I scored 5 touchdowns and had over 200 yards but it doesn't mean all that much since we lost."

How is the recruiting coming along?

"I am still committed to Tennessee right now but I will look at another situation if it presents itself to me and it is in my best interest to see what they have to offer both from an educational standpoint and playing time on the field. If the offense is one I like, I'd look."

There have been rumors you might be taking a visit to Georgia Tech, is that true?

"I haven't set up anything and I don't know if I will. I'll have to see what happens there but I'm not real sure what will happen if anything."

Are there any other schools you might visit?

"I've been talking to Kentucky a good bit, so I might go up there for a visit and see what all they have to offer me as a student and playing time."

Do you consider you commitment to Tennessee solid?

"I'm pretty sure I will end up at Tennessee but I will look at others if the situation is right."

Do you have any official visits set up as of now?

"No sir, not yet but I plan on getting some set up now that my season is over at Milton. I wanted to put all my concentration into my team and not have any distractions while we were playing. Now that it is over I plan making some visits, just not sure which schools will get them just yet."

Dale's Take:

Toney was fairly certain he will remain a Vol commit but he is keeping his options open in case the new staff at Tennessee isn't one he likes. As for what schools he will look at really depends on how much they recruit him and what type of offense they run and if he fits in with that style of offense. It really looks like he will remain a Vol unless there is a big clash with the new coaches.
