Burrows Takes in Fall Visits

Brandon Burrows, a 6'3" 235 lb defensive end prospect from Walton High School, should be a well-known name on the class of 2010 recruiting circuit. He is already being pursued by Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Oklahoma State, California, Duke, Rutgers, Indiana, and North Carolina State.

Brandon Burrows has no offers yet but states that Georgia Tech is recruiting him harder than anyone else right now. He took in a Tech visit already and has also visited a couple other schools. Here are his thoughts on those schools:

Georgia Tech - "I was there for the Florida State game. I was impressed with the facilities and the coaching staff. I really liked the atmosphere."

Georgia - "Georgia is really nice. They have good facilities, a crazy atmosphere, and a huge stadium. I really like their defensive end coach. Coach Fabris is a cool guy. They treat recruits really nice up there."

Vanderbilt - "I was there last weekend. I actually was up there for a senior camp last summer. I met the coaching staff and they were real welcoming. I really like the set up there. The area is nice, too."

Does Brandon believe any schools are close to offering him a scholarship?

"I think Georgia Tech is getting close. I need to work on getting my highlight tape out."

Being from Atlanta, would an offer from Georgia or Georgia Tech be a big factor for them with their locations?

"No, not really."

So what are the factors Brandon will be looking for in picking a school?

"Of course academics, then how soon I could play. Location is somewhat a factor. How I feel I fit in is important, and the coaching staff."
